British Council Poetry Competition

In July, grade 10 students visited the Haus für Poesie to celebrate Kayleigh Walters’ ‘Special Mention’ and performance in this year’s British Council Poetry Competition.
Congratulations, Kayleigh!
Students across Germany took part by writing a poem in response to Scottish spoken word Poet Kevin McClean’s poem The Game.
Afterwards, grade 10 participated in a spoken word poetry workshop led by Mr. Mc Clean.
It was a fun and inspiring afternoon, and we look forward to collaborating with the Haus für Poesie in the future!
