St. Nikolaus Celebration at BCS Primary School

6th December, 2024

This morning, a delightful surprise awaited our Primary School students during the first breakfast break—St. Nikolaus had visited! With the help of our dedicated Primary Teachers and Extra Curricular Team, oranges and sweet treats magically appeared in the students’ shoes, bringing smiles and festive cheer to all.
The tradition of St. Nikolaus, celebrated on December 6th, is a cherished custom in many European countries. It honors the kindness and generosity of St. Nikolaus of Myra, who is remembered for his acts of compassion and care for those in need. In keeping with this spirit, children leave their shoes out the night before, hoping to find them filled with small gifts or treats as a reward for their good behavior.
As we continue to celebrate the holiday season, we warmly invite you to our Winter Show tomorrow, December 7th, at the Nature Campus. The event will feature music, dance, and many more beautiful surprises to brighten this advent season. Join us in sharing the festive spirit with our BCS community! Happy St. Nikolaus Day! 🎅✨
