Free Music Workshops

Music Workshops for free – this generous offer comes from the “Internationale Stiftung zur Förderung von Kultur und Zivilisation”  (Munich). With it the Berlin Cosmopolitan School has the opportunity to hold three consecutive music workshops introducing a widespread range of classical music and instruments to children.

Yesterday, the first workshop took place. There grade 1 and 4a got the chance to get to know the flute, the guitar as well as the human voice. The theme was “Dances of the World”.

The next workshops are the following:

Workshop 2 | Tuesday, June 14 | 11:45 – 12:30 (grades 1 & 4a)
violin, guitar, voice: “A Journey through Nature & Fairy Tales”

Workshop 3 | Tuesday, June 21 | 11:45 – 12:30 (grade 1)
accordion, clarinet, voice: “Animal Classics”

In addition the foundation sponsors three trial lessons on instruments for as many kids as sign up for it! A big thank you to “Internationale Stiftung zur Förderung von Kultur und Zivilisation” for giving our students such a great opportunity!
