Grade 1 – Abstract Art

After looking at the coloured circle paintings of Wassily Kandinsky and his other abstract work, students were asked to try to draw and paint to create works in a similar style. We also looked at the coloured paper collages by Henri Matisse and again students tried to create their own coloured paper collage works.
