Welcome back at Berlin Cosmopolitan School
Dear Students, Parents and Guardians, Teachers and Staff,
The beginning of a new school year is always an exciting moment full of anticipation, expectations, and possibilities. Because we are at an international school, this beginning is not only the start of a new chapter of learning but also an opportunity to once again connect with cultures from around the world, learn from each other, and grow together.
The new school year allows everyone to challenge themselves, make new friends, and look beyond their horizons. The diversity of our school is our greatest strength. Our community comprises students from various countries, and this cultural diversity enriches our daily lives in so many beautiful ways.
What can we expect this year?
In addition to regular classes and extracurricular activities, we also have some special events and projects planned:
- Shows: Every year, we will have our Winter and Summer Shows, where our students can participate.
- Nature: As in the past, we will use nature as our third educator. In addition to our forest in Prenden, our students will now be able to experience nature up close at Müggelsee.
- Global Project: Again this year, different cross-border global projects and trips are planned to find solutions to global challenges while learning how to work effectively in multicultural teams.
These and many other activities are waiting for you to discover!
Here are a few tips for a successful start:
Openness: Be curious and open to new experiences and cultures.
Communication: If you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact teachers, school administration, or older students.
Involvement: Get actively involved in school life. This is one of the best ways to make friends and grow personally.
Finally, we would like to wish everyone – new and returning – a fantastic start to the new school year. To Mrs. Roeschel and Mr. Brennan as Principals of the School, I wish you a successful start to the new school year.
May this year be full of learning, discovery and joy. Welcome back!
With best wishes,
Yvonne Wende
