Grade 1 – Birds

For the unit on Birds, students worked on observation and drawing skills, considering shape, texture, tone and colour while trying to draw birds from books and images. Subsequently they made their own colourful bird masks from cut out feather shaped pieces of paper glued onto a mask template.
