BCS students visit Sachsenhausen

16th December, 2015

Memorials are important. They teach us never to forget the past and to reflect upon who we are today. With this in mind, the 11th and 12th Grades in the Abitur visited the Memorial and Museum Sachsenhausen, a former Concentration Camp on November 27 as part of their history course.

The magnitude of what happened in the nearby area struck a chord with the class who were often profoundly moved by the memorial site. While not a pleasant field trip, all acknowledged the importance of visiting such sites.
